Welcome to College Ten Advising! 

Due to changes in campus operations, your College Advisers will be available online for the foreseeable future.

We can respond to many inquiries via email, including completing forms that require our signature.

Email Advising: Advising inquiries or forms that require our signature can also be emailed to tenadvising@ucsc.edu. An advising staff member will respond within 2-3 business days (sometimes more during our busiest times in the quarter). Please include your name and student identification number in ALL email correspondence.

Appointment Setting

Make an appointment with us on Slug Success 

Appointments are 30-minute meetings regarding: readmission, academic standing, petitions or exceptions, etc. To make an appointment schedule online using Slug Success

Chat Option

Our virtual front desk, managed by our peer advisers, is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm via Google Hangouts (ninetenadvising@ucsc.edu).

Please reach out to our peer advisers for quick advising questions, grad checks, or assistance setting up an appointment.

Peer Advisers are well-trained and compassionate student leaders whose job is to help and support you!  They are available at the front desk Monday - Friday to assist students with essential advising questions. Staff advisers often rely on Peer Advisers for their first-hand knowledge about enrollment navigation, selecting classes, and their personal experience.  Peer Advisers are wonderful resources for graduation/GE checks, helping with enrollment, understanding the next steps with a form, or identifying resources on campus!

Peer Advisors also help students schedule appointments with advisers.
