Expressive Arts Class

Art piece by student, Genesie Munoz '15

Every year during Spring Quarter College Ten offers the Expressive Arts for Social Justice Class. This 2-unit class allows students to explore their creativity to deeper their understanding and awareness of social justice topics.

Students will design and host a showcase for the various mediums of art they create, highlighting a social issue of their choice. Issues in past showcases have ranged from violence against women, cultural identity, to the rights of Indigenous communities.

The course fulfills a PR-C General Education requirement. Priority enrollement is given to College Nine and College Ten students-- though enrollment is limited. To get registration information attend an info session.
