Parking

An email went out on January 24th letting your students know they can pick up parking permits at the Colleges Nine & Ten Admin Office, during office hours, until this Friday, January 31st. If your student is not able to pick up a parking permit by Friday you will be able to pick one up during the event (See Map Below; Permit Pick-Up Location Represented by The Yellow Star).

Parking for Family Day will be restricted to Parking Lot 164 (See Map Below; Lot 164 is in the Red Circle). Parking is a short walk, role, or run from the MPR (See Map Below; Represented by the Blue Heart), where the festivities will be hosted.

All vehicles parked on campus without a valid, UCSC-issued parking permit during enforcement hours are subject to citation. For best results, park only in the spaces designated and reserved by your college. If you park elsewhere on campus, be mindful of permit requirements and enforcement hours, which are posted at parking lot entrances and at TAPS.ucsc.edu/pdf/parking-map.pdf.

Additionally, UCSC Campus Transit schedules can be viewed here, and Santa Cruz METRO weekend bus service from downtown to campus can be viewed here.  Campus Transit service is fare-free, and METRO fares are $2 per boarding.  For comprehensive transportation and parking information, please click here.
