Student Life

One of the primary goals of College Ten is to help our students actively engage in the college community and build leadership skills that reflect our theme of international & global perspectives. We encourage you to take on leadership roles at the college and progress through various college programs. To formally recognize your leadership contributions and experiences, the International & Global Perspectives Leadership Certificate is presented upon your graduation. This is a tangible honor that can be highlighted in employment and graduate school applications.

College Ten Leadership Journal

Providing opportunities for students to shape their environment and develop leadership skills is what Student Life is all about at College Ten. College Ten's theme of Social Justice and Community recognizes the importance of building leaders who are deeply committed to social justice and who will be equipped to engage fully in their communities. Social responsibility and shared obligation to humanity are foundational principles of the college program.

Each month highlights a different social justice or community issue. Concerns may include prisons, labor, poverty, discrimination, environmental justice, community activism, and other topics related to the college's theme. Students and staff collaborate to develop programs that engage students in different aspects of the issues as they manifest in the U.S., as well as in other parts of the world.
