Room Selection

Room Selection is a chance for continuing students to explore their on-campus housing options next year through three simple processes.

  1. Pre-Selction: An opportunity for students to to create a Neighborhood Group - 3 or more people in the Residence Halls or a group of students that can fill an ENTIRE apartment (3,4,5,6,7 residents).
  2. Online Room Selection: Allows students to participate in Room Selection as a group of students or as individuals - pick a housing space in the Residence Halls or in the Apartments, online. 
  3. Housing Fair: All campus housing facilities come together to offer any available housing space to residents still in need of housing. 

Priority Housing Application Period

To participate in Pre-Selection or Online Room selection you must fill out a housing applicaiton during Priority Housing Applicaiton Period (PHAP) from Monday, April 16th - Monday, April 23rd by going to the Student Housing website. 

Applying during the Priority Housing Applicaiton Period allows you to:

  • Participate in Pre-Selection as a group of 3 or more people in the Residence Halls or a group that can fill an entire Apartment on Monday, May 14th. 
  • Participate in Online Room Selection to pick housing as an individual or a group on May 15th and May 16th. 
  • Secure the Rate Saver Option for the Residence Halls. 

Room Selection Timeline 

  • Priority Housing Application Period: April 16th - April 23rd
  • Pre-Selection: May 14th 
  • Online Room Selection: May 15th and May 16th
  • Campus Wide Housing Fair: May 18th

Apartment Configurations

  • 3 Person Aparment (Very limited) - 1 single and 1 double
  • 4 Person Apartment -  4 single bedroom
  • 5 Person Apartment (Very limited) - 3 Singles and Small Double/ 1 Double and 1 Triple
  • 6 Person Apartment - 2 triples
  • 7 Person Apartment (Very limited) - 1 Quad and 1 Triple
